Keely Turner

Keely started dancing at age 3 with dance umbrella in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She has done most of her training at the school taking classes in ballet, jazz, modern and choreography. Keely also studies pilates, yoga and dance conditioning. She currently teaches Hip Hop at Sobers School of Music and Dance and at Pilates Dynamic Fitness. Keely has had the privelege to choreograph and perform in various shows such as the dance umbrella annual recital, The Atlantic Dance Festival, The Fringe Festival, "Impulse : A Choreography Showcase", etc.
Keely founded Breakout Dance Company in January 2006 and has since developed it into a working pre professional dance company that travels throughout Canada performing her choreography.

Influences: her biggest creative influences are her students and peers.
Aspirations: Keely is planning to move to Toronto in September 2008 to study dance at a post secondary level; she aspires to one day own a professional touring company and be a well known dancer and choreographer.
